 INTRODUCTION TO JAVA :
       Before beginning to learn Java,let us drop into its record and see how the terminology began.In 1990,SUN MICROSYSTEMS INC.(US) has created a venture to create software for customer technology that could be managed by a distant.This venture was known as turn invisible venture but later its name was modified to Natural venture.
            In Jan of 1991,BILL JOY,JAMES GOSLING,MIKE SHERADIN,PATRICK NAUGHTON, and several others met in Aspen,Colorado to talk about was to start perform on the design program, and Wayne Gosline was development;Patrick Naughton was to start execute on the design system; and james Gosling was to recognize the appropriate growth terminology for the venture.Gosling thought C and C++ could be used to create the venture.But the issue he experienced with them is that they were program depedant dialects and hence could not be used on various processor chips,which was completely application separate.This terminology was originally known as OAK.Since this name was authorized by some other company,later it was modified to JAVA.
        Why the name Java? Wayne Gosling and his associates were taking a lot of coffee while creating this terminology.They sensed that they were able to create a better terminology because of the high excellent coffee they absorbed.So the coffee had its own part in making this terminology and high excellent coffee was launched to the globe from a place known as "JAVA ISLAND".Hence they set the name as JAVA.And the icon for Java terminology is coffee cup and saucer.
            By Sept of 1994,Naughton and Jonathan Payne began composing Web Sprinter - a Java - based Web online browser,which was later relabeled as Hot Java.By Oct 1994,Hot Java was consistent and was illustrate sun professionals.Hot Java was the first online browser,having the abilities of performing applets,which are applications developed to run dynamically on online.This time,Java's prospective in the perspective of the Globe Extensive Web was identified.
            Sun officially declared Java and Hot Java at Sun Globe meeting in 1995.Soon after,Netscape Inc.announced that it would integrate Java assistance in its online browser Netscape Gps.Later,Microsoft also declared that they would service Java in their Internet Traveler Web online browser,further strengthening Java's part in the Globe Extensive Web.On Jan Twenty third 1996,JDK 1.0 edition was launched.Today more than 4 thousand designers use Java and more than 1.75 billion dollars gadgets run Java.Thus,Java pervaded the globe.
